R&P; The Worlds End Trailer

This film is similar to the film 'This Is The End' Firstly the cast, This film stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Martin Freeman, who are all famous across the British comedy scene. As well as this this film is the last in a trilogy of different comedy films, with similar casts, gags and with the same director for all 3. All these factors would contribute to the films popularity.

The plot of the film is basically an apocalyptic setting in there old home town in which they have retreated back to from their busy lives, where the world is ending and they are being attacked by robots. Much like many films the plot revolves around a journey - evidently like in 'Shaun of the Dead' to a Pub - And this journey must be completed at all costs - this is a setting used often in the trilogy. The equilibrium shows them at the pub having a good time, drinking even though it seems to just be one person loving it, which adds comic effect to the film. At first its very jovial, however we then get a sense of the dark comedy towards the middle of the trailer, we get a sense that there is skullduggery afoot in the town, when we realise something is wrong in the town that has 'changed' as we see stereotypically creepy stares from the town folk. Then we see the 'robots' starting to attackYou can almost certainly tell this is going to be a black comedy, much like the other films in which many of the gags revolve around death and irony.

We then see the plot thicken and the scenes getting more intense as the trailer moves on we see them fighting off the robots with weapons in true 'shaun of the dead' and 'hot fuzz' fashion. But instead of seeing the plot progress, we just see interesting parts of the film and the pure craziness that entails in this film, such as fighting off hordes of robots and a huge robot and some of the gags including the classic Simon Pegg and Nick Frost fence jumping gag. This would therefore make the audience see the film so they can see all the gags that entail in the film as well as the action, the trailer doesn't give too much of the film away however, which would then make people want to go and see the film

The costumes are all normal clothes, however we see that all out of the group of friends whom are all dressed smartly, we see that the main character played by Simon Pegg in is a lot more casual clothes, so we can infer from this trailer that he is the 'slacker' and different to the rest of the group

The soundtrack which follows this film is similar to the feel of the trailer which gives a very 'crazy' feel as the soundtrack appears to be some sort of noisey fast paced electronic music such as House or Dubstep.
