The poster of the film mirrors does a good job in representing the genre of the film, as the majority of the poster is made up of dark gloomy colours to suggest a horror genre . This makes a clear that the film will indeed have a clear molevelant feel to it. The lighting is a very similar story with the lighting of the poster at a somewhat low key level, it is very dark and heavy which sets up a forboading atmosphere and futher emphsasises the atmosphere of the genre. The Title does not give a direct link to any genre of films although we do see that one of the 'R's in mirrors is flipped. which heavily suggests a subject of the film which is reflection and mirrors, This links to the characters in which are looking at there relfections in the water which again links to the theme of reflection. The name of the actor Kiefer Sutherland who would be a selling point to the audience as he is a well know actor and is an action hero. in films such as 24
